Acting Kisii County ODM Chairman Samuel Omwando has termed the apology issued by MPs Richard Onyonka (Kitutu Chache South) and Simon Ogari (Bomachoge-Chache) as hypocrisy and vowed to freeze them.
The duo made a surprise reunion with the party years after decamping to the Jubilee government and apologised to the ODM leader Raila Odinga for their ‘misdeeds’.
In an interview with the reporter, Omwando insisted that the two leaders remains ‘dangerous’ to the party and insisted that they would destabilise the party from within should they be readmitted.
“They are hypocritical because we have seen them supporting our political competitors and that makes me worry. My honest opinion is that they should not be readmitted at all,” he said.
“The two remains dangerous to the party and I insist that they could destabilise the party from within by working with their Jubilee friends. My stand remains firm that they should be condemned to the cold so that they learn to have political stands,” Omwando who is also targeting to dethrone Onyonka in 2017 added.
Earlier on Monday, nominated Senator Janet Ong’era said the two will be subjected to a disciplinary committee at the county level.
