Wajir Governor Mohamed Abdi has urged the new County Executive Committee members to deliver on their mandate because he will not condone poor leadership.
Speaking on their swearing in, he urged residents to support and cooperate with the new cabinet to ensure good services."Failing to support officials means they will not succeed, if they fail, I and my deputy will have failed," Abdi said.Abdi, accompanied by his deputy Ali, expressed confidence that the 10 executives will deliver on their mandate."I want to assure you that under my leadership service delivery will be paramount . I will not hesitate, even a second to replace officials asleep on their jobs," Abdi added.Water CEC Abduhadif Abdullahi, speaking on behalf of his colleagues, said the officers will not disappoint."We will ensure you achieve your objectives. We shall work with you faithfully and truly with the dedication of improving lives in Wajir," he saidOn the issue of October 26, repeat presidential election, Abdi urged all the members of his county to turn out in large numbers to reelect President Kenyatta.
