The distribution of the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examination materials to all the sub-counties will begin from Friday to Sunday. 

According to Kenyan national examination council's (KNEC) acting Chief executive officer Mercy Karogo, all the sub-counties heads have been informed of the deliveries and have been asked to make necessary arrangements on how to receive the materials at their various distribution points. 

“Knec officers delivering the examination materials have been instructed to communicate with respective sub-county directors of education to inform them of the exact date of delivery,” quoted Ms Karogo in a letter dated October 24 send to all sub-county heads. 

According to KNEC's timetable, the rehearsals for KCPE will be done on Monday 30 after which the examination will kick off on October 31 and end on November 2nd. 

Previous data from KNEC revealed that a total of 1,003,556 candidates have been registered to sit for for the examination with 28,566 centers being used.
