Kibra lawmaker Ken Okoth has termed the lawyers who represented President Uhuru Kenyatta in the concluded Presidential petition filed by NASA in the Supreme Court as total failures.
Speaking on Citizen TV Tuesday, the ODM MP said that the team completely failed in it's responsibility urging the president to demand a refund from them for not delivering.
''The President's lawyers did a shoddy job leading to his loss and he should be demanding a refund from them for failing to deliver and terribly letting him down,'' said Okoth.
He also took shots at the President rubbishing his recent statement that the court should have ordered for a recount of the votes rather than a full repeat of the entire process.
According to Okoth, the President is just playing the victim as he never demanded the same during the hearing sessions.
''The President is now saying that the court should have only ordered for a recount when he, through his lawyers never demanded that during the hearing. The court can not grant you something you never asked for,'' he said.
The President made the remarks during a rally in Kajiado County earlier Tuesday.
