National super alliance (NASA) supporters in Kisumu demanded to be teargassed by police for anti-IEBC demonstrations to be complete.

In an audio doing round on social media platforms, protesters are heard demanding police officers to use teargas to disperse them.

In the 29 second audio clip, they are heard claiming that it would be a waste of public money to purchase teargas and not use it.

Police in Nairobi lobbed teargas canisters to disperse protesters who gathered near IEBC offices.

NASA leader Raila Odinga and his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka called for protests to force IEBC CEO Ezra Chiloba and other top officials to resign.

Odinga has accused Chiloba of leading other officers in committing electoral irregularities that led to bungled election on August 8.
