Opposition leader Raila Odinga on Wenesday said the opposition will hold demos on Monday if dialogue over IEBC fails.
Speaking at Uhuru Park at a Cord rally, Raila said they will not relent in their course since it is their constitutional right to demonstrate.
"We have been told to follow the constitution. We are following the constitution. We want dialogue and we will not accept elections with the same IEBC commissioners in office today," he said He added:"We already told the IEBC chair to go home in our quest to send the commissioners home."
His sentiments were echoed by the Senate minority leader Moses Wetangula who said one of their agenda is to ensure all Kenyans above 18 years get identity cards.
Wetangula said Cord want transparency on how results are transmitted electronically from polling centers to IEBC national tallying centre.
" I urge you not to give up. We as Raila, Kalonzo and myself will change things come 2017," Wetangula said.
