The Menace said he has been nursing a stubborn knee injury, something that has made his fans to ponder whether or not he has hanged his boots.

He added that he still has several years of active football and that he cannot hang the boots now.

"I can't talk about retirement. I just decided to take a break after picking a knee injury and went for the first operation," he said as reported by the Nairobian.

I am yet to go for a second one. I am 32 years and I think I still have four years to play football. It is not the end of the road but at the moment I am concentrating on (marketing) Betway," he added.

In his career, Oliech was phenomenal in leading the Stars against tough sides and will be remembered for firing the team to the 2004 African Cup of Nations.
