Football Kenya Federation (FKF) President Nick Mwendwa has disclosed that Kenya's celebrated striker Dennis Oliech rejected a job offer the federation proposed to him.

According to Mwendwa, Oliech refused to be part of the Harambee Stars technical bench that would be tasked with sharpening the striking line.

Mwendwa said they were willing to accommodate 'The Menace' owing to his good run in professional football.

"We approached Dennis Oliech and offered him a job to work with our strikers at the national team. Unfortunately he turned it down but offered invaluable assessment and analysis of our strikers," said Mwendwa.

This comes after a public outcry with a photo circulating on social media showing that Oliech had gone broke after a good stint in professional football.
