According to the first legislator, a Jubilee candidate is capable of unseating Kidero from City Hall.

"It is now a two horse race. Its Kidero and I, the remaining candidates have no chance," said Waweru.

Waweru who was addressing reporters in Nairobi on Tuesday said that other Jubilee leaders interested in the seat lack the drive to improve Nairobi.

"All the rest, have had the chance before to improve the city but they failed. Its time for new blood," he added.

Waweru is set to lock horns with Senator Mike Sonko, Water CS Eugene Wamalwa and Bishop Margret Wanjiru in a bid to clinch the Jubilee ticket.
