A section of Jubilee leaders drawn from Kisii County have now warned the party against denying Alfred Keter Jubilee ticket in order for him to defend his seat in the upcoming elections.
Led by former Kitutu Chache south Jubilee Parliamentary seat aspirant Anthony Kibagendi the leaders said that Keter has proved to be a strong leader despite the fact that he has been having troubles with Jubilee and there is the need for Jubilee to give him an upper hand in the upcoming elections.
"We as youth leaders and supporters of Jubilee we would like to warn the party against supporting another candidate apart from Keter in the Nandi hills Parliamentary seat as that may lead to us losing that seat to another party" said Kibagendi
The leaders condemned a section of MPs who are calling upon Jubilee party officials to deny the outspoken MP a jubilee ticket.
"Let them watch and let the Nandi hills people elect their MP without external forces and those who are against the MP should not preach the gospel of ticket but instead go on the ground and campaign," said Kibagendi
Keter recently lost his seat when Eldoret high court nullified his win
