Through his Twitter page, the controversial lawyer who won a case challenging his deportation to Canada on Thursday told President Uhuru Kenyatta to deport Margaret and two of his other relatives who have dual citizenship.

Miguna’s tweet read: “The despot @UKenyatta should begin by deporting his wife Margaret Kenyatta a dual citizen of Germany and Kenya and his cousin Annah Nyokabi Gathecha former Kiambu Women Representative who is a dual citizen of Canada and Kenya before he touches Miguna Miguna.”

His tweet came minutes after he responded to High Court’s ruling that revoked his week-old deportation.

Miguna said on Thursday, the National Resistance Movement (NRM) was fully committed to adhering to the rule of law.

"We, the NRM, Kenyan patriots and freedom fighters, believe in and are fully committed to the rule of law. We shall use the constitution as the spear and the shield in the fight against the despots," Miguna stated in a tweet.

The self-made NRM general further thanked his legal team saying the battle for electoral justice still continues.

"Thanks and congratulations, counsel. I'm grateful for the work of Dr John Khaminwa, James Orengo, Nelson Havi, Mboya Apollo, Waikwa Wanyoike, Mr Aluoka, Mr Ndubi, Edwin Sifuna, Mr Otieno and others! aluta continua!" he posted.

High Court judge Luka Kimaru declared Miguna’s deportation to Canada illegal. Justice Kimaru directed the Director of Immigration Gordon Kihalangwa to surrender NRM leader’s passport within 7 days.
