Moi University students have asked the national government to deport them too just like they deported lawyer Miguna Miguna.
The students said they were disappointed with the government about the lecturers' persistent strike.
The comrades said they should be deported to other countries since nothing much was being done to end the strike.
“The Jubilee government is never serious about tackling lecturers' issues, nothing much is being done to end the strike," said student Biling Chebet.
"The lecturers have been on strike for more than three weeks now and there is no hope of government responding to the strike,” Chebet added.
“It would have been better if we were deported to Dubai than being in a country where they use massive resources in frustrating their critics, instead of focusing on ending the lecturers strike,” said another student Kiprotich Kipsang.
The students said they were worried about their graduation and would prefer being students of other countries.
“I think it would be a good idea to deport the students until the government is ready to deal with the lecturers for we cannot go on this way," Kipsang said.
"We settle in schools and in a short while they are back to the streets."
