Nyaribo said his political rivals are not happy after Nyagarama handed over powers to him while he is away to hospital.

"I will a bid by the rules to continue serving the people of Nyamira while my boss is away. I am not going to misuse my powers as claimed by a section of selfish leaders who are after getting political mileage in the county politics,” he said.

He assured that he will involve MCAs in decision making based on the development plans in the county.

“I will work closely with the county MCAs in discharging my duties on behalf of the governor. It is time we should join hands together to ensure our people are served well and pray for Nyagarama to get well and resume work,” he noted.

He said hate mongers will have no room to interfere with the county leadership.
