Nyamira residents have piled pressure for Nyamira County Deputy governor Amos Nyaribo to resign.
The locals said Nyaribo is a womanizer who should not be allowed to hold a public office.
“Nyaribo has proved to be a self centered leader. He should resign because he has been moving around with women misusing county funds. We don’t want him to continue serving in the county,” said Eric Ondigi.
James Moruye claimed that Nyaribo’s decision to forge Nyagarama’s signature to sack the county secretary Erick Onchana tells that he is ready to employ a county secretary who will favor his prostitutes, family and relatives to be absorbed into the county government.
"Nyaribo’s ill plans to have his concubines, relatives and family members to be employed in the county will not work.
"Let him resign because we will not risk voting him in 2022 if he thinks so. We are done with him, otherwise we are blaming governor Nyagarama for picking a selfish deputy governor who is interested in prostitution,” said Moruye.
A youth leader Kefah Moenga said MCAs should not allow Nyaribo to run the county as his own kiosk in the absence of Governor Nyagarama who is admitted in hospital in the US.
