Nyaribo has been embroiled in a political tussle with Nyagarama who claimed he had not seen his deputy for six months.

Speaking to this writer on Friday on grounds of anonymity, the source revealed that Nyaribo was in talks with West Mugirango MP James Gesami and they are hatching a plan on how to unseat Nyangarama in 2017.

“The Deputy Governor is not going for the top seat and he will only support a candidate battling out with the incumbent. He is not happy on how the county government business is transacted,” said the source.

“He is in talks with Gesami and I can confirm he has settled on supporting him. They are in the final stages of crafting the best way they will work together and since he may be interested in the Deputy position,” added the source.

In a telephone interview, Nyaribo refused to comment on the matter and said he will make his intentions known with time.

“It’s early for me to discuss those issues but I want to insist that when time comes I will let people know my decision,” he said.
