Nyamira County Deputy Governor Amos Nyaribo has supported the county MCAs' move to force out County Commissioner Josephine Onunga over the rise of insecurity in the county.
Speaking on Wednesday at the homestead of the deceased, Nyaribo said that if the commissioner has failed to keep safe Nyamira residents, she has to leave.
"There is no need of having a commissioner who is not delivering by keeping our people safe, we can't be having burials of our murdered people by criminals while the commissioner is sitting without taking a step," said Nyaribo.
This has come as the MCAs vowed to demonstrate to county commissioner's office to force her out due to her 'relaxation' in discharging her mandate of providing security.
