A group of rowdy youths smashed and deflated tires of Busia Deputy Governor Kizito Wangalwa’s car Wednesday night.
The deputy governor was not in the vehicle at the time the incident occurred.
"They also stole a laptop and an IPad during the incident,” Wangalwa’s Liason officer Lambert Ogochi said.
Wangalwa’s boss, Governor Sospeter Ojaamong, will today take on Funyula MP Paul Otuoma in ODM primaries, to determine who will vie for governor seat through ODM come August 8.
The two have engaged in a fierce political battle, with violence witnessed in the region.
They were pardoned by the ODM disciplinary committee on Wednesday after one person died during a clash between their supporters last week.
