Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi has reaffirmed his commitment to strengthen the partnership between the Executive and the Legislative arms of his government to deepen cooperation and coordination that will result in the realization of the fruits of devolution in Kilifi County.
He said the Executive and County Assembly will continue having constructive engagements and strategic deliberations to ensure all County initiated projects and programmes are started and completed within their specified timelines to guarantee residents of maximum benefits.
He was speaking when he co-chaired a consultative meeting with the Speaker of the County Assembly Jimmy Kahindi between his Executive Committee Members and all 54 MCAs in regards to the Ward Development Fund at Kikambala, Kilifi South Sub-County.
"We are prioritizing projects and programmes that are aimed at improving the standard of our peoples’ lives, achieve sustainable growth and shared prosperity for every corner in Kilifi County," Kingi said on Tuesday.
