Kisauni MP Ali Mbogo has assured that construction of the proposed Marimani Mixed secondary school will kick off soon.
Over Sh40 million has been set aside by the Kisauni Constituency Development Fund (CDF) for the project.
Mbogo said the structure will be a 3-storey building that hosts 12 classrooms; Form 1 - 4, 3 science laboratories - Biology laboratory, Physics lab, and a Chemistry laboratory.
It will also have 2 state-of-the art ICT Computer laboratory; 5-modern offices for the school principal, deputy principal and other school heads; school library; an assembly hall; modern kitchen; swimming pool; a basketball court and car parking.
On Monday, the secondary school Board of Management, area Chief, Ali Mbogo, and Mwakirunge Ward MCA Enock Mwinga made a site visit on the 2.5 acre piece of land that has been set aside for the construction of the school.
They also went through the architectural plan of the school.
