Mombasa Deputy Governor Dr William Kingi held candid discussion with officials from the foreign department of Guangzhou City, China on a myriad of issues pertinent to the growth and development of the coastal county.

The government of the City of Guangzhou through the Vice Counsel of the City committed to assist the Mombasa county government in assessing and reaching out to potential investors in the sectors of health, transport, trade, environment, light industry among other sectors that are essential for the progress of residents.

"We believe that this new friendship with the City of Guangzhou will go along way in harnessing our efforts of delivering on our mandate to the people of Mombasa," Kingi who is in China, said on Wednesday.
