On Tuesday, Cabinet Secretary without Portfolio Hon. Raphael Tuju called on the Governor of the great county of Kisumu Prof. Anyang' Nyong'o.
Tuju who was in the county to visit affected flooding regions in Nyando, Kisumu East and Nyakach Sub counties lauded the county government for the expeditious measures they have taken to try avert the current stalemate.
Also in their discussions were possible areas of partnership between the National government and county government of Kisumu to spur development in this region.
This was the first time Tuju met Nyong'o after the contested August 2017 election.
Tuju who hails from the Nyanza region, was among the top men who led President Kenyatta' re-election.
He served as Jubilee Party Secretary General, and was later appointed Cabinet Secretary without portfolio.
He has been off the limelight since the appointment by the President.
