Cord leader Raila Odinga on Saturday met with Bomet Governor Issac Ruto where they discussed a range of issues.

Through his facebook page, the Cord leader said that they discussed the current political landscape in Kenya.

The meeting took place in governor Ruto's official residence in Chapangulu,Bomet County.

Further details about the meeting have not been released, although speculations are rife that the two leaders could be planning a possible merger ahead of the 2017 general election.

Over the recent past,ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi has been calling on opposition leaders to team up and form the National Super Alliance to take on Jubilee.
