NASA leader Raila Odinga is said to have held a three-hour long meeting at his Capitol Hill offices on Thursday, a source has revealed.
The meeting, which involved key NASA MPs was meant to resolve differences that emerged from closely contested National Assembly leaderships.
And its in the meeting that Raila urged MPs to solve their differences adding that the standoff was unnecessary.
"He met a number of them and asked them to focus on improving livelihoods of their constituents instead of wrangles," said the source.
He further added: "He noted that MPs should try to use internal mechanisms to solve issues rather than going public."
Among those who attended were Junet Mohammed, Abdulswamad Nassir, Tindi Mwale, Zulekha Juma and Ahmed ibrahim.
The MPs were selected from across all NASA parties and the meeting came hours after Abdulswamad was chosen to head PIC in parliament.
