Opposition chief Raila Odinga has received a special invitation to give a keynote address at Uganda's Democratic Party (DP) Youth Conference.
Chairman of DP Party of Uganda, Samuel Lubega invited Raila on Friday, information that was confirmed by ODM via Twitter.
"Party Leader Raila Odinga received a formal invitation to give a keynote address at Uganda's DP/SDP Youth Conference on 23rd May 2018 at Makerere University," read the tweet.
"ODM leadership has been invited to a major youth conference of the DP and SDP parties which will culminate in a merger of the two parties," the party added.
During the Ugandan visit, Raila will be accompanied by the party's Secretary General Mr Sifuna, the Executive Director Mr Ogwen, and the party's National Youth Leader Benson Musungu.
