President Uhuru Kenyatta on Thursday penned a special letter to the nation, with less than a week to the repeat polls slated for October 26.

In his letter, Uhuru narrates how difficult 2017 has been to Kenyans with regards to the slow progression of the nation's economy owing to the political happenings.

Uhuru, however, expresses hope in the letter and his clarion call to Kenyans is to rally behind him on October 26 and elect him as the president for a second term.
