Mr Bosco has been in an Arusha prison for three years over alleged money laundering and fraud with United State keen to have him extradited to face the charges.

But the optimistic youths accused the MP of undermining the party and insisted that they will push for the release of Gichana to face Onyonka in 2017.

“There nothing bad likes someone betraying our beloved party without even consulting people who elected him. Onyonka has committed political suicide and he should be ready for the axe in 2017 because he is a big letdown,” said Solomon Okibo on their behalf.

“We have his replacement on standby and hopefully Mr Gichana will be released soon to tackle him in the elections. As ODM, we are very sure of a clear victory with Gichana as our leader. We hope that his release will be done soonest,” he said.

Mr Gichana reportedly donated the famous Hammer which Raila Odinga used during the closely contested 2007 elections.
