A Nakuru pastor has said that devil worshiping is to blame for the arson cases being witnessed in secondary schools in the country.
Pastor Ezekiel Maina, of the world redemption ministries, said the fire incidents being witnessed are not usual and satanic forces are behind it.
He claimed that devil worshiping is real in Kenya's secondary schools and their agents are the ones causing arson attacks.
Speaking in Nakuru on Wednesday, Pastor Maina said that a good number of teachers and students most boarding secondary schools are into devil worshiping and are the ones causing the fires.
"These are not normal fires and the country should be worried. Devil worshiping is real in our schools and they are the ones behind these arson cases,"he said.
"Devil worshipers have agents in most of our boarding secondary schools and they are the ones being used to burn the schools,"he added.
He called on the church to rise up and pray for the education sector in the country before it crumbles.
"The devil is at work and the solution is not to close down schools because even if we close them they will still be burned. The solution is for the church and all Christians to stand up and pray for the Kenyan education sector before the devil feels like he has won," he said.
Over hundred schools have been affected in the ongoing arson cases that has baffled the country.
