Nakuru deputy Governor Joseph Rutto has accused Bahati member of Parliament Kimani Ngunjiri of working to sabotage the county government.
Speaking Tuesday night on Radio Citizen, Rutto said Ngunjiri's attack on the county government are baseless and uncalled for.
The DG said Ngunjiri has refused to work together with the county government despite the governor reaching out him.
"In Nakuru, the Governor ( Kinuthia Mbugua) is working well with all elected leaders, Ngunjiri is only the problem and he knows," said Rutto.
"We have reached out to him but he doesn't seem to be ready to work with us and that is why he has been attacking us all the time," he added.
Rutto dismissed claims by Ngunjiri that Governor Mbugua was doing things without involving other elected leaders in the county.
"The governor is very friendly and always ready to talk to other leaders in the county including the same Ngunjiri," he said.
