Addressing Nyamira residents at Nyamaiya stadium during the celebrations to mark Madaraka Day on Wednesday, Nyagarama said it will be hard for next year's general election to be held with the current electoral commission if a dialogue within the two coalitions can't be held.

"It will be very hard to hold credible elections under the current IEBC team if the government will not engage the opposition in talks that will bear fruits over the stalemate,"  he said.

The county boss further said the differences being witnessed between Jubilee and the opposition should not divide the country since what all Kenyans need is a credible electoral body to manage the 2017 polls.

"The sharp differences being witnessed between the government and the opposition should not divide our nation because all we need is to have a credible electoral body that all Kenyans will have confidence in," he added.
