Award-winning star Diamond Platnumz is facing the prospect of a jail term following his arrest on Monday for posting explicit videos on his social media accounts.
The celebrated musician was arrested after he posted two steamy videos on his Instagram story on Sunday April 15th with different women.
In the first video, he was all rosy in bed with his baby mama Hamisa Mobetto.
In the second video, he his seen with a white woman whom he was kissing and getting cosy with in bed.
The singer has been arrested after the minister of sports, arts and culture Dr. Harrison Mwakyembe said that such celebrities should be cautioned.
Diamond spent his second day in police cell on Tuesday in Dar es Salaam.
Speculations are that the sikomi hit maker is trying to make his ex-wife Zari Hassan jealous who dumped him on February 14th after continuous allegations of cheating.
Also arrested in the crackdown on explicit videos is female musician Nandy, whose sex tape with her former boyfriend rapper Bilnass recently surfaced online. She claims the sex tape was leaked.
This comes after Tanzania president John Magulfi on December 2017 ordered Tanzania communication regulatory authority to take legal actions against artiste using nude video vixens or sharing obscene content to public platforms.
