Tanzanian star Diamond Platinumz, his cousin Romy Jones have survived an accident that occured in Oakland California.
Diamond is believed to havê been leaving a show part of of album promotion tour when the incident occurred.
Through his Instagram, Diamond stated that he was lucky to be alive.
''Dah! Was almost dead tonight, but God gave me another chance to breathe and continue inspiring and creating more future for my fellow youth,'' he wrote.
The same was echoed by his cousin Romy.
''Let God be called God. Today could have been our last day but God decided to give us another chance to live. I will thank God today, tomorrow, and the day after. Lets keep praying because we are walking with our deaths in our hands,'' Romy posted.
Diamond is in the US to promote his new album 'Boy from Tandale'
