Kenyan songbird Avril has dismissed claims that she is dating Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz. It all started when she featured in his video, Kesho.
In the song, Diamond tells Avril, who is the video vixen that he wants to introduce him to his parents before they organize for the wedding. The singer asks her not to showcase character of the city girl in the presence of his parents starting from the dress code, how she addresses him and the food she asks for.
In an interview with Kiss FM's Chito for the Maloko Show, downplayed the rumors saying that she only works on music and not anything else.
“Everyone thought Diamond and I dated and others thought I was now a video vixen, but it was all music, and even up to date, we chat. I send him a track before I release a song because I value his opinion."
Both Diamond and Avril are doing well in the musical careers. Regardless of what people say about them, the two singers are hitting airwaves. Hate them or love them, Diamond and Avril are influential.
