On October 14, 2017, the self-appointed General Miguna Miguna took to his Twitter account to urge all combatants in the N.R.M ranks and file to soldier on with the fight.
He deliberately urged them to stand their ground and avoid the temptation to run away from the heat of the fight. He wrote:
Dr. Miguna Miguna @MigunaMiguna Stop Running. Arm Yourself. Stand Your Ground. Fight Back.Miguna Miguna, October 14, 2017... (link: http://fb.me/1hW0bnqTw) fb.me/1hW0bnqTw
Clearly, he urged the N.R.M combatants to stop running and arm themselves. He commanded them to stand their ground and fight back.
So, when news filters that General Miguna Miguna, the man with one name twice in the words of Jeff Koinange, bought a ticket and sneaked out of Jomo Kenyatta International Airport on the eve of Judge Maraga's ruling, one is left with no option, but to conclude that Miguna abandoned his hallowed sentry point leaving the other musketeers exposed!
We will hold this view until the General comes with a convincing explanation as to why he left his infantry leaderless.
Miguna's silence too has worsened an already bad situation. It is equivalent to what one great scholar called 'sinning by silence.'
General Miguna, it is good that you never boycotted to fly!
