NASA leader Raila Odinga on Saturday resurfaced after a long silence.
Speaking in Siaya county on Saturday, Odinga stated that his silence was a political strategy.
Raila shocked supporters when he revealed that he aware of an impending betrayal in the National Super Alliance.
“Even Jesus was betrayed by one of his closest disciples, Judas. Some people may want to betray us,” Raila said without elaborating.
Raila was speaking during the burial told mourners at the burial of Siaya Senator James Orengo's uncle Benson Atinga in Alego.
Odinga who was 'sworn-in' as the People's President stated that he will not be surprised if people he did not name abandoned the journey to the proverbial Canaan.
After the mock swearing-in, the government increased a crackdown on NASA leaders who took part in the event.
The crackdown led to the deportation of lawyer Miguna Miguna to Canada.
Reports of an impending NASA fall out have been rife with the loyalty of other co-principals being questioned.
