The Muslim community should not to vote the National Super Alliance (NASA) flag bearer Raila Odinga in the forthcoming general election, Presidential candidate Mohamed Abduba Dida has said.
The Alliance for Real Change (ARC) leader accused Raila of being behind the disappearance of top Muslim religious leaders in the country when he served as the Prime Minister in the Grand Coalition government.
Addressing his supporters in Isiolo town on Tuesday, Dida alleged that Raila and former Security Minister the late George Saitoti allowed Israeli operatives to 'eliminate' influential Muslim leaders when they served in President Mwai Kibaki's administration.
"Raila and the late Saitoti met with top Israeli security officers in Tel Aviv to plan the execution of Muslims. After that meeting, Muslim leaders started disappearing without a trace," he said.
The hopeful added: "The problems facing members of the Muslim community today escalated when Raila was the country’s Premier. He shouldn't clinch the presidency."
Dida further accused the ODM leader of nepotism and abuse of power when he was Kenya's second in command.
"He employed his close relatives to senior positions in the government... he is not a national leader."
