Former presidential aspirant, Mohammed Abduba Dida has promised to keep the union between President Uhuru Kenyatta and the Opposition leader Raila Odinga in check.
Speaking through his twitter account a moment after the meeting of the two leaders, Mwalimu Dida noted that the meeting should not be a publicity stunt to impress the international community, as the meeting came when the United State Secretary of state Rex Tillerson is expected to land in the county on his tour of Africa.
He also ironically added that it is better to have two president joining forces to work together than one president working alone.
“What a day! The two presidents Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga have decided to join forces and work together. Two are better that one. I hope that this is not another publicity stunt to impress the international community. We shall also keep the government(s) in check,” posted Dida on Friday.
On their first surprise meeting at Harambee House in Nairobi, President Kenyatta and NASA leader Raila have promised to work together and unite the country (Kenya) that has been divided for generations.
The two agreed to start a process of healing and uniting the nation following the prevailing political crisis in the country.
