Speaking to the press yesterday while at Nakuru town, Francis Mathea who is the finance executive said that there have been a number of cases whereby rogue county officials had been printing fake single working permits.

"The digital business licences are going to ensure that all the fake single working permits have been eliminated. I also want this to go as a warning to all the county officials who will be caught either printing or in possession of the fake working permits that they will be arrested and prosecuted as by the Kenyan Laws,” Mathea said.

The Finance Executive went ahead and said that no person will be able to evade the new mechanisms of paying the business permits.

“The new digitalised licences will go ahead and have some computerised marks which can only be scanned by county officials hence there will be no room for refusing or evading to pay it,” Mathea said.

Mathea went ahead and urged all the traders within the county to ensure that they pay the business permit licence fees and to also to ensure that they abide to all the rules and laws governing them.

“We want them to know that it is through the money that they pay that the county government is able to manage all its activities, hence providing the much needed services to the residents of the county,” Mathea said.
