This is after the county assembly passed a bill that that compels the government to allocate funds towards the course.

Additional, the 2016 Kisumu County Disability Bill will also allow students with special needs in youth polytechnics benefit from the kitty.

The bill further provides for the establishment of special schools for the disabled in the county.
