A section of Kisii MCAs is now calling for the Deputy governor Joash Maangi to come clear and let them know his agenda after him holding a series of secret meeting with various leaders from the county.
According to the MCAs, Maangi's moves are questionable and they want to know if he is still committed to spearheading the county’s development agenda.
Led by Bomariba ward representative Protus Moindi, the MCAs vowed to support Governor James Ongwae to retain his gubernatorial seat come 2017.
“For the past three years we have been working with Ongwae the county has been prospering at a high speed and there is a need for us to work with him for another term," he added.
The MCA accused Maangi of not “closely” working with Ongwae for the county to deliver its promises.
This comes after the area deputy governor Joash Maangi posted photos on his officials facebook account holding a series of meetings with some of the elected leaders from the area.
