Members from three Jubilee affiliate parties are expected to move to court on Wednesday to obtain an injunction stopping the much-awaited launch of the Jubilee Party (JP).
The members, from New Ford Kenya, Ford People and Party of National Unity claim other parties had been shortchanged by the The National Alliance and United Republican Party which constitute the Jubilee coalition's main parties.
The members who addressed the media on Tuesday claimed TNA and URP were banking on their numerical strengths to segregate against smaller parties.
They want court to stop Saturday's JP launch until individual party representation issues at the executive management level are solved.
"TNA and URP should stop using their numerical strength to fill top party positions," one of the members said.
Currently, JP's interim executive members include Meru Senator Kiraitu Murungi who is the chairman with Johnson Sakaja as Secretary General.
Sakaja is deputized by former TNA Secretary General Onyango Oloo.
"How do you fill top party positions without the involvement of other parties?"
The official launch of JP is slated for Saturday and over 50,000 delegates from across the country are expected to attend.
The event will be held at the Safaricom International Sports Centre Kasarani in Nairobi.
Over 70 land cruiser vehicles branded with TNA and URP colours will ferry the delegates to the launch venue.
The culmination of the event will be the keynote address from President Uhuru Kenyatta.
