The re-election ambitions of Kitutu Masaba MP has yet again been dealt with a big blow after a section of area residents from Gesima region accused the legislator of discrimination and arrogance in tackling issues.
Speaking at Esani village on Sunday in a meeting to discuss the conduct of the legislator, they were unanimous that the Timothy Bosire was unfit to lead and asked him to relinquish his seat or face stiff competition.
According to them, the MP has allegedly been focusing on Manga Sub County ignoring the lager Masaba sub county which constitutes of Gesima and Rigoma wards.
“Bosire has lost touch with residents and therefore he is unfit to rule. He discriminates certain regions especially Gesima and Rigoma which are perceived as opposition stronghold,” said Evans Mogere.
“He has an obligation to serve everyone regardless of where we come from. This divisive politics belongs to the previous century and therefore we want him out or we teach him a lifetime lesson in 2017,” said Agnes Kwamboka.
However, the MP through his personal assistant Justus Omiti dismissed the claims and blamed his opponents for fueling political crisis in the region.
“This is pure lie and I want to assure everyone that the MP is serving all Right from bursary allocation to construction of dispensaries. These people are just sponsored by failures who think they own Kitutu Masaba,” Omiti said in a meeting at Magombo village.
