Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto has urged the Jubilee Party not to dissolve its affiliates parties, terming it as "out of order".
He said this was a threat to multiparty democracy that Kenyan leaders were fighting for.
"As Mashinani Party, we condemn that move with strongest terms possible, why are they bulldozing people to join the party, is there something they are hiding," he said.
Speaking on Sunday at Kipchoge Stadium during the Inter-counties secondary games, Ruto said this was denying Kenyans their democratic rights of joining parties of their choice.
"As Mashinani Party, leaders we will not join Jubilee Party instead we will be fielding candidates in all elective posts countrywide, we wait to embrace democracy and not killing it," be added.
He however urged the Jubilee government to deliver the promises it pledged during electioneering period, instead of always playing politics," he said.
"Jubilee government is always fond of setting aside money, kutenga pesa, but they do nothing after the promises, we want leaders of actions," Ruto noted.
He called upon the Kalenjin nation to support his party since it will address all their problems.
"We will form a coalition with like-minded parties who have a vision to change the livelihoods of our people.
