[Photo|IEBC]Even as Kenyans remain eager for the elections day tomorrow (Tuesday), distribution of election materials has been ongoing, by the IEBC.Chairman Wafula Chebukati said the exercise "will be completed by Monday 7th August, 2017" by 5 pm.Helicopters will be used to deliver strategic materials to Garissa, Mandera and Turkana. "Our officers across the country are going through their checklists to ensure that they have all the materials they need for the general election," said Chebukati, Saturday.This even as training of all presiding and deputy presiding officers for the general election has been completed. Training of clerks was completed, Saturday.Identification of voters will be done through biometrics, during elections day, Tuesday August 8."There are 5,227 Kenyans with poor biometrics and this information has been provided to respective returning officers. Any voter that is not identified using biometrics will be considered for complementary mechanism of voting and will need to fill form 32A."IEBC warned that voters must have their national identification cards or passports to vote. "There is no requirement to have your voter’s card or acknowledgement slip to vote."
