Nyaribari Chache Member of Parliament Richard Tong'i has challenged opposition supporters in the region to instead support Jubilee.
This he said was because Jubilee had shown that it had the interest of the community at heart.
"Jubilee party has shown that it has the interest of the community at heart. The President in the recent past has appointed members of our community to key positions within the party," he said.
In the last two weeks, President Uhuru Kenyatta has appointed former Kisii Senator Chris Obure and Mr Ken Ogeto (his personal lawyer) to key positions in Government.
He questioned opposition sipporters to identify even one key position a member of the community was holding in the opposition.
He further said that for the community to gain even further in terms of development their was need of them to support Jubilee fully.
He accused the opposition of being led by selfish individuals.
Mr Tong'i who is serving his second term in parliament, also said that in this year's budget Jubilee had sent aside funds for development in the region.
"The President made promises during the campaigns and already progress has kicked off in some of the projects he promised," he said.
