The body of a young boy who drowned in Athi River on Wednesday was recovered yesterday by professional divers.
The boy drowned during a fishing expedition with friends on two separate boats.
Friends realised that he was missing from their midst that's when they rode out of the water and alerted the people around who started looking for him but to no avail.
It took the intervention of professional divers to get to the body.
After the recovery, the body was loaded into a police car and ferried to the General Kago hospital.
