Divers at the Lake Nakuru have recovered the body of 22-year-old Veronicah Muthoni who perished when a chopper crashed into the lake.

The body was retrieved on Friday, almost a month after the crash. 

The chopper crashed on October 21.

"Body of Veronica Muthoni, victim of Lake Nakuru helicopter crash, retrieved and taken to a funeral home," county police boss Hassan Barua said.

Rescuers were also able to locate the main wreckage of the chopper.
