Kilonzo said NASA coalition can only prevail in unity if its leaders still want to dethrone the Jubilee administration.

"If the National Super Alliance principals decide to vie separately for the presidential seat in 2022, be assured Jubilee will continue to reign," Kilonzo said.

He spoke to this writer on the phone on Friday.

Mutula urged the four principals to forget succession politics and instead strengthen their unity and choose the flag bearer saying that succession politics in the coalition will be the cause of the dissolution of the party.

“Of late the principals have been claiming that their names will be on the ballot paper, what they don't know is that they will loose. Odinga alone can't bring down the current regime, unity is paramount," Kilonzo added.

He told the NASA principals to avoid taking much time in deciding the coalition's flag bearer in 2022 like they did ahead of the 2017 polls.

Kilonzo's statement comes barely few days after the Ford-Kenya leader Moses Wetangula declared that he will run for presidency in 2022 and appealed for help from the other principals.

Wetangula dismissed a Memorandum of Understanding that was signed ahead of the last year’s general election by parties that formed NASA as time barred.
