Corruption is an evil act that has brought hatred among people in the same community or within countries all over the world.
Many people practice corruption without consideration of its effect on the people. People who partake in corruption do it for their own benefit that eventually leads to a bridge that is created between the affluent and the beggars who happen to be those who don’t have any another option to go except dependency ratios over the rich people.
A collection of data shows that major public service institutions and departments, not forgetting institutions and private sectors perform corruption without the knowledge of others but really the matter of corruption has become something common among people in Kenya.
It is known that Kenya is among the top corrupt African countries. The county government that has been implemented years back is also performing not the purest of governments as there are some officials here and there who are swindling loads of cash. Some of the effects of corruption in Kenya are unemployment of young people, poor infrastructure, poor transport system, and mismanagement of public funds, poverty among poor people and other social evils.
To overcome the corruption crisis in our beloved country, we all need to take solid measures to deal with corruption, people should be educated on the dangers of corruption in the country and great measures should be taken over those who practice corruption.
As Kenyans, let us STOP corruption together to overcome all challenges that our in our country.
