Senator Paul Njoroge urged the president not to heed to the actions of his MPs saying the motive of passing the laws would distabilise the country due to  fierce political contest.

"The president should show leadership by disowning the laws. They were passed in bad faith and therefore, the President must protect national interests," he said.

Speaking to the press in Naivasha Town Tuesday, the senator also announced his intentions to vie for the Nakuru County gubernatorial seat.

His latest sentiments are however likely to further sideline him from his fellow Jubilee leaders who have since declared him as a lone ranger following his move to join independent party KANU.
