Speaking on Monday at Gusii cultural hall a section of aspirants from various constituencies who are aligned to ODM party led By Kitutu Chache South aspirant Samuel Omwando accused the leadership of the party from Kisii by saying that they have auctioned the party.

Omwando who was endorsed as the chairman after replacing Chris Obure said that those who went to State House are auctioning the party hence they will not allow them to continue with their bid of selling the party.

“We have gathered here in solidarity with the ODM members from all sub-counties to show the country that ODM is still alive at Gusii land, those who went to State House saying that they are representing us have their own interest,” Omwando said.

They vowed to teach them a lesson by urging the ODM members to stand firm and let nobody cheat them to join other parties.

“We have seen delegates going to Sugoi and State House to meet the president and his deputy by saying that they are bargaining for development, we need to tell them that this is not the regime where you go for bargaining,” added Omwando.
